So, anyone have the T-mobile Wing? Looking for nice pda with keyboard. Mainly for PIM functions and database/photos. I don't care about phone option. I like the look of the rubber grip, blue color etc.

Reviews?

Its a fine device, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

I've owned the Wing since the first day it was released. It WAS a great device until I got more regular use out of it. Now the bads outweigh the good and getting rid of it. See my recent post at http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=55931.

If you're already with T-Mobile, My advise is don't buy the Wing. I'd buy an MDA from eBay with VoiceCommand 1.5 (NOT 1.6). If you're able to change carriers, I'd recommend the new Sprint Pocket PC Phone (can't remember the model # but it's the one that has the slide-out keyboard).

Yes, but with the things I want to do with the Wing, will it work? See my first post. I saw your other posting and didn't see anything that would interfere with what I want to do with the phone.

If you don't care about using VoiceCommand (I can't use a phone without it now, personally) and won't use the camera to take pictures (only SHOW them from it), it'll be ok for basic usage. The "rubberized" blue finish is actually pretty cool too. It's not really a bright/rich blue color as commerial photos show; it actually looks more black or very dark blue in normal lighting.

Hey all,

I have the Wing, it's an upgrade from the Dash. It's my first pocket pc device and overall, I'm quite satisfied with it with some exceptions however.

It does have the TI OMAP 850 processor which is about 200mhz and slow compared to much of what is currently on the market.

But my biggest disappointment is the today screen plug-ins. They keep disappearing on me which stops me from buying home screen plug ins!!

I do like the Wing.I like the voice command which I've not used a lot but it seems kind of cool. I put Docs to Go on it, which while basically is a smartphone app, I find it far more functional than the Office Mobile that comes with Win Mo 6 Pro.

I'm not an executive or business man, so I don't rely on much of what eriqc brings to issue on his other posting, though I am sorry that he has had these issue, I do agree with his HTC wish list though!

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the Wing, but really want the Touch!! forget the iphone, gimme a Touch!!
