I just got my hands on a HP Jornada 525 Pocket PC and I was wondering if there's any kind of use I can get out of it? Maybe GPS navigation after adding [compatible] bluetooth CF card? Maybe linux?

it only runs Pocket PC 2000 (Win CE 3.0)

any kind of ideas would be greatly appreciated

TIA

With the Jornada 525 you are stuck with PPC 2000.

It is also an SH3 processor and not an ARM (like the Jornada 56x) therefore it is unlikely that you will find a GPS navigation software that you can use.

It does make a great eBook Reader though!!

Your Jornada is still a useful piece of equipment. :D Please go to my site: Legacy Handhelds (httP://www.legacyhandhelds.com), I have quite a few titles that will run on older devices like yours. If GPS is your goal, I will see if I have any GPS software that will run on the older device.

Just let me know if your still looking.

Good luck,
