RefToGo (http://www.reftogo.com/) has just announced the release of a beta version of the WordNet lexical database in DEPReader format for Palm OS and Windows Mobile/Pocket PC PDAs. The license for using this database during the beta testing period is free. To take part in beta testing, please, download from:

WordNet® is a large lexical database of English, developed under the direction of George A. Miller from the Cognitive Science Laboratory, Princeton University. Nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs are grouped into sets of cognitive synonyms (synsets), each expressing a distinct concept. Synsets are interlinked by means of conceptual-semantic and lexical relations.

Features include:

About 150,000 words organized in over 115,000 synsets for a total of 207,000 word-sense pairs.
A combination of dictionary and thesaurus.
Nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs are grouped into sets of cognitive synonyms (synsets).
Words are tagged with frequency counts.
