About to do a hard reset on my Cingular 8125. Do I need to re-install the DST patch that I installed a few months ago?

Yes, it was deployed as a "soft" patch, so it gets wiped with every hard reset.

For some reason, a few of us have had to install the patch two or three times after a hard reset before it "takes." Also, it's important to install it as soon as possible after your first synch connection, so your device and PC are as similar as possible.

Maybe even better to connect as guest the first time, get the patch installed and then set up syncing.
