Phone Specific Apps for PC Phones - Volume Issues, Etc.

Hi all,
Just got a Treo 750 smartphone running Windows Mobile 5.
What great apps do you know of that are phone specifici?
1.) Specificly, Im looking for something that will alow me to boost my volume during a call. Seems these TREOs are notorious for bad volume. Any help you can provide is great!
2.) Also, any apps you recommend hat are mandatory.
3.) Is there a way to upgrade a Windows Mobile 5 phone to 6?

I like Spb Phone Suite, because it creates profiles for things like muting your ringer when your calendar shows you have a "Busy" appointment.

I also like Spb Pocket Plus for ANY Pocket PC device, mostly because it turns the "X" into a real "Close" button and its battery indicator on the Today screen.

I'd also invest in a good backup application; it'll save your skin one day.

Just look around here in the Software forum - I've posted hundreds of software reviews / roundups, containsing / elaborating on hundreds of must / cool-to-have apps.

Upgrades in OS are device specific. You'll be able to upgrade only if the WM6 update is offered specifically to your device.
A good backup software is a must.
