i-mate Jasjar, Phone/Contacts not responding

Hi I seem to have a problem with my phone:
When i press some numbers ( on that moment a dial pad has to come ) nothing is responding.
When i press "contacts" it isnt responding.
When i go to the standart "Phone" program, there isnt coming any program.
When someone tries to call me they get the voicemail but my phone isnt off..
It can't be the SIM-card because i just bought this one a week ago.
What can it be? a virus? because i installed "phone suit" yesterday? ( i unistalled it btw but still the phone and contacts etc. aren't responding )

First step would be to do a soft reset. That is just poking the stylus into the little hole in the back. Kind of like re-booting a PC. You don't lose anything, it just clears all the junk out and reloads the OS with any new registry settings. Could be some phone suite things are still hanging around. A reset is a good idea after installing something like phone suite that really interacts with the UI, too.

The drastic last resort is a hard reset, I believe on the JasJar there is a utility that says clear memory that does this, or pressing the power button and the stylus reset at the same time. This sets it back to how it came out of the box. Everything you have done is undonew, including partnerships, contacts files personal settings, etc.
