I have a sprintppc6700 with wm5 . activesync and I are at war .more than half the time I can't get it to work.it willtell me no device detected,or justwont sync....help

If you're having trouble syncing, go through Microsoft's checklist (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/help/activesync/default.mspx) for configuring firewalls and connections. More often than not, it solves the problem.
