It's a little disappointing that a program this full-featured still has no Asian character support. :(

Yes, Smartphone support was officially introduced in Rev 2. I imagine Smartphone Thoughts will post on it soon. :)

I am running it on my Moto Q Black right now with no issues. I use Active Sync to keep my hosted exchange server up to date.

Is it as slow and bloated as before?

I don't think so -- actually I didn't think that the last Rev. was slow and bloated.

When it was WebIS Mail 1 and 2, I purchased and installed it but had to remove it due to the inability to fully delete messages. I could delete them, but the message files would stay (You could see them in File Explorer) and they built up to several MBs in not time. Only way to get rid of them was uninstall/reinstall.

However the version of FlexMail before this release solved all that and I loved it. This particular release, however, doesn't seem to work very well on my Cingular 8125. I don't know why, as most other users are not having the same issues. Some of us are, though. :(

I'm sorry. The issue is harder than it looks.

Hey :) We can view HTML. But if you want slow and bloated...HTML editing is a huge code bloat.

One that we plan to tackle anyway, but nevertheless we feel that IMAP IDLE was a bigger deal than HTML editing.

BTW - I wanted to mention the only real major known issue in Rev 2 here before somebody comes here upset. For some people SMS sending sends 0 byte messages. We don't know why yet. It doesn't seem to happen to most users based on the reports we have had, but we know it happens. I also know that because FM no longer overwrites the built-in messaging AND does not integrate itself into the system, you can still use FM for POP3/IMAP (its forte) and just use Messaging for SMS. You will not have any issues unchecking that checkbox to make FM the default SMS app. It will play well :)

For those with the SMS issue, we have a potential fix:

I was going to give this a try again but I didn't because i thought i remeber hearing that it didn't support direct push with exchange servers. has this been fixed, if so then i will give it a try again.

Direct Push with Exchange Servers comes from ActiveSync. FlexMail has always supported that - we would have to do a lot to make it NOT work :)

But yes, I can attest that since I use both IMAP IDLE and Exchange (two separate servers for different purposes) they both work in FlexMail 2007 Rev 2.

However you don't really gain anything by using FM for an exclusively Exchange user. If you want to use best-of-breed IMAP/POP3 with your Exchange Direct Push account - then you gain by using FM.
