Help!

I have a i730 samsung that I purschased oct 06 and i have had to exchange my phone on three different times . I believe i will need to send
this one back also. I love this phone . There are several problems with
this phone and they are as follows.

1. The phone screen lights up for no apparent reason. there is no incoming
call for it to light up. and i don't tap the screen. so it should't light up.

2. when I try to record a voice note there is a noise that start when i record. So when i play the message back , i hear the noise in the recording .

Please help,

dtrellWhat type of noise? Please post an example of the noise recording...
The screen is probably lighting up from a process activating. There could be many possible explanations. Say an RSS reader attempting to "grab " news. A faulty appointment in the notification queue. Use a process viewer to see what is starting up and then shutting it off. In WM5, Activesync starts up seemingly at random.
