Pocket PC as "repeater"

Hello:

I have a Fujitsu N520. When I connect it to my PC via ActiveSync I have Internet connection in the PDA. Well, I want to "reenviate" this internet connection via the WIFI adapter of the PDA, because I want connect to Internet in my laptop by WIFI and my router haven't got WIFI.

Is there any way to do this? It could be possible using de IpEnableRouter key in the registry?

You can share http (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=453&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1) but not all the other protocols. There is no way I know of that will let you use a Pocket PC as a wifi adapter.

I've heard it is possible to use a Windows Mobile phone as a wireless modem for a Windows system via USB, Serial, Bluetooth, and/or IrDA. Read here:

Also, if you can't locate your Windows Mobile CD, you can get USBmodem_dialer.exe here (at the bottom of the page):

Note: You'll need to have the correct login information (e.g. username, password, etc.) for your service provider (e.g. Cingular) for this to work. You should be able to get this information by inspecting your connection settings or from your provider's website.

BTW - I'm not sure if there is anything similar for WiFi but I'll post here if I find anything. Good luck.

Your way may work only if his neighbor has free WiFi connection for him.
For all this work, I would get a $20 router to fix all his needs. Yes, there are workaround, but it will cost you more time to figure out. Im talking about time is more than money.
