WiFi not staying connected 8125

Hi I have a cingualr 8125 pocket pc phone. I'm trying to connect to my wirelesss router d link 614+. I some times can get it to connect but when it does it will connect for about 1-4 before it disconnects know I can get it to connect again network key is right. I have my xbox connected wireless no problems.The phone will connect to a hotspot.Whats going on?

If both work well individually and with other equipment. Do a backup, hard reset the Pocket PC, reset the router and try to connect without any encryption. If it doesn't work then...you have a hardware incompatibility.
It if works, try it with encryption. Maybe while you have provided the right key...it is being altered in transmission...Some manufacturers have been known to have different encryption algorythms that are incompatible with other devices.

Would a wifi adapter fix the problem? Yes and no. You could bypass the router and create an Ad-Hoc to your computer but with the prices as they are...Way more economical to dump the router in a local buy and sell add and buy a new one.

what is a good wireless router at a good price that will work with my phone and xbox?

I got it connected . On the cingular forum there was a thread about my problem. One person relayed saying to turn the battery power to best battery. I did that and it worked. Hopfully it stays connected.
