Add/Remove Programs screen keeps popping up with Vista

I just upgraded my Desktop PC to Vista, and I'm using the Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC) to sync with my Dell Axim x50v. The only problem is, that whenever I put my Axim in the cradle WMDC starts up and the "Add/Remove Programs" screen appears. I can dismiss it, but it seems to always popup when I cradle my Axim.

Does anyone know how I can prevent this from happening?

There's probably an issue with your registry settings, where WMDC thinks you're still trying to install an application. Try reinstalling the last application you installed on your device from your Desktop PC. That will probably fix the problem.
