Launched on Tuesday, http://www.google.com/m?uipref=3 can be accessed from a mobile browser and customized to feature pre-selected weather, news, stocks, and movies information, tailored to a specific geographic area."

I had a chance to play with this over the weekend, and typical of Google, it isn't a revolutionary change in their mobile search product, but it is very well executed, so much so that it became my default home page for IE on my device. :D

I still prefer this URL: http://www.google.com/ig/mobile?output=pda&hl=en

still compact, not too crowded, not too much images, and has my personalized pages.

Is is bad that Google has its own folder in my PIE favorites??

There are 10 links in there.. Over half of which are just different front ends for the same data. :)
