question -- utility software for 'changing modems'...?

to change the modem that is being used for a particular connection, i would need to go through several taps on my HTC Hermes...

Settings --> Connections --> Connections --> Manage Existing Connections --> Modem

then manually choose which 'modem' to use, then press the 'ok' button several times...

is there a software utility that can do this with but a few taps?

-- i know that you can select 'automatic' on the modem tab, however, i need a specific modem for specific browsing needs...

Settings --> Connections --> Connections --> Manage Existing Connections --> Modem.This is OEM dependent. do a file search for .cpl files. You'll find one main one cplmain.cpl(300k) and some small ones. The small ones on a Dell X50v like backlight.cpl link to my backlight settings etc.
The cplmain.cpl didn't activate when I tried to double click.
