Trouble sync'ing calendar part of Outlook 2000

I'm upgrading from a Dell Axim to Verizon Xv6700. I sync only with my office computer and had been doing so with the Dell for years. I believe I was running AS 3.8. Today, I brought my new phone in and tried to set it up. I had already dl AS 4.2 and used that to upgrade the AS before connecting the phone. Everything sync'd perfectly except for the Calendar. It sucked in all the contacts, emails, task, files, etc., but no Calendar. The Windows Mobile site suggested upgrading to AS 4.5, which I did. This was no better. I then uninstalled the AS and used the CD that came with the phone to install AS 4.1. This was still no better. I am still able to sync my Axim though.

I was able to add an appoint to the phone and it was pulled into the desktop and showed up on Outlook.

Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong here?

Update
Turned out the problem was with the desk top. It was running Windows 2000. Apparently, Windows 2000 and AS 4.anything don't work and play well together. My IT guys set me up with an XP machine and it's working great.
