Is Dial Up Networking a thing of the past? [Archive]

Hi,
I'm getting very frustrated! I used to be able to connect to the internet with my LG VX8000 (Verizon) a Gomadic cable and my ipaq 2755. For the past year I have been unable to make a connection. Verizon says no more DUN. Is DUN over or is it me?

DonThat is called tethering and isn't allowed unless you pay an additional premium to Verizon
