What do you mean by network? Carrier network, or wifi?

Is it even supported anymore?

AFAIK, no it isn't.

Carrier network. So I could not get it connected to a GSM network to use it as a phone? Does any cell network support it?

The h6315 is GSM AFAIK, so it should work on any GSM network with the correct SIM. Having said that it's a pretty terrible PDA phone by most accounts.

Currently i have a tracfone account. The cell phone I use has a sim card. I read that tracfone is TDMA, CDMA, and GSM. Could i simply take out the sim card in my tracfone and place it in a CDMA device (such as the Audiovox ppc-6700) Thanks so much for replying, you just helped me out alot! :D :D

I was under the impression that CDMA devices don't have/need SIMs? I could be wrong. In any case, if it works on a GSM network, SIMs should theoretically work on any GSM device.

I currently have a Motorola V170 cell phone with a sim card. This is using tracfone. I read online that this unit supports GSM 850/1900 MHz. Could I simply take out the sim card from the Motorola and pop it in a h6300 and call people? Thanks so much for all the help!

Thanks so much for all the help!Yes and no....You need to make sure your new phone is programmed to the frequency band in use by your carrier (4 bands) and then pop in the SIM for use. You cannot use SIM's in CDMA phones since they do not have a SIM slot.
