Precious metals = expensive. That's the way the world works. ;-)

Bluetooth drops out, memory cards don't work, annoying customizations from Palm...well, at least the case can hide it a little while looking good! Does it ship with a brown paper bag for me to wear while using that device?

Wow, finally a case that costs as much as the phone! :D :D

As precious metals go, silver isn't really all that precious. Last I checked it was still less than $15.00/ounce, and I doubt they have more than an ounce of Silver on this thing. I'd say Vaja knows they'll only sell a few of these, but they will probably be making about $300.00 on each one they sell. Hat's off to them if they find buyers.

BTW: the case DOES look fantastic!

Well, I'm no expert so maybe I'm wrong, but I imagine the labour involved in hand-crafting the silver portions and integrating them into the case have to account for some of the cost. I think if Vaja could make a healthy profit and sell these at $150 they would...or maybe you're right and I should shut up.

Sweet looking case but $340.00 for thin leather and 3 pieces of silver... no way man. I've purchased T&Co. silver jewery for cost less than that, and it wasn't accented with silver either. But I'm sure someone will buy it.

I absolutely adore Vaja's products, but when the cost of the case hits a certain percentage of the cost of the device it's protecting, I tend to stay away from it. In this situation, that percentage is way exceeded. And besides, I've never been much of a precious metal-type guy. ;)

Mmmm... how much cost to make this case? In Argentina... leather is cheap. Silver? Not that expensive. And there are only a few grams in there, let me guess, 5 bucks . Skilled artisans? They are lucky if they make $300 a month. So I bet... this case cost not more than $50 to make. But thatīs not the point. The point is that there is people who can afford it, so what the hell, lets make a profit!
