I have had the kjam for a few months and the pocket msn has never worked thru wifi or gprs. i have a great internet connection on gprs and wifi, no problems there. i can use imov messenger service and i get msn messenger thru that, also agile messenger works well, but the pocket msn that came with the kjam does not and never did work. does anyone have this problem? thanks

Did you try using Pocket MSN via an ActiveSync connection cabled to your PC? That's the most sure-fire way of testing if it has anything to do with your wireless (WiFi or GPRS) connection. Pocket MSN has always worked great for me but it's quite sensitive if you have a weak connection. If Pocket MSN doesn't even work cabled to your PC via ActiveSync then it's probably some obscure software issue.

I have read that many people have this same problem i have with msn not working on the kjam and other imate products, i have no problem using pocket msn on my imate sp5m thru gprs or wifi. when i try to connect the kjam via cable to activsync, the activsync works but i try to get on the net and it tries to connect me thru gprs, how do i get on line thru the activsync connectoin? i'm assuming this pocket msn is a software problem and i have done a hard reset and my internet works great via wifi and gprs on the kjam, other message programs work such as imov, shape services. If it is a software problem do u have any suggestoin as to how i can fix it? i'd like to use only the pocket msn that came with the phone and abandon the other clients. thanks:)

I don't know if this will help but assuming you are running ActiveSync 4.5, have you tried going into File->Connection Settings and unchecking "Allow wireless connection...."?

Unfortunately, this is a very common problem with the built-in client.

You could give a try to other alternates (IM+, Agile, Octro etc); please see
