htc prophet dopod 830

Hi everyone
I just bought in China this dopod 830, but I seem unable to make the wifi device work.
In China they tell me that this device does not support wifi, but in the specs of HTC it is clear that it should have this device
Anyone knows the reason?
How could I make it work?

First, AFAIK, the Dopod 830 should have working wifi - but you'll have to be a little clearer about the issues you're facing.
