Does anyone here have an iMate Jam and know what is the maximum capacity SD card it can use? I was hoping to get a 4GB or 8GB for it. If not, what capacity do you use? I know a 2GB works, but even i-Mate's tech support couldn't tell me what max. capacity it can take.

Don't own an i-Mate Jam, but thru my readings i-Mate tech support may be hesitant to advise on any given manufacturers 4GB SD cards because of compatibility issues.
MyMemory has an SD card, the 4GB 133 X that the company claims is compatible with your device, but having no experience with this company or obtainable feedback to go by, it may be wise to do more research. I would think, again just going by my personal readings, that SD 8GB would be out of the question.

Stik is correct. 8GB cards are SDHC (SDA version 2), which the i-Mate Jam - along with about 99% of the devices out there - does not support. 4GB cards are trickier - non-SDHC 4GB cards may be compatible, but YMMV.

Hey thanks a lot. This should be of some help when I go look to find out. YMMV?
YMMV?
