permanent landscape mode?

I would like to switch my Cingular 8525 to landscape mode, regardless of whether the keyboard is out or not. How do I do that?

Try this->

Start->Settings->System tab->Screen

There should be the screen orientation commands on that page.

Please note that this solution will not put a device with a sliding keypad into landscape mode permanently. Once you open/close the keypad, the orientation of the screen will revert.
