Hello all,
As stated in the subject I am new to this forum and also reasonably new to the PDA world. I own a HP iPAQ hx4700 and encounter the following problem(s);
I have a small private network (both cabled as well as WiFi) at home and I would like to be able to print from my iPAQ to the network printer. The printer, a HP PhotoSmart 3300 series, is hooked up via cable to the router and works perfectly when printing from my laptop (again both via cable and WiFi)
When I was going through the configuration of the (network) printer on my iPAQ, using HP Mobile Printing, I came across a pull down menu for the model of the network printer to be used. The HP PhotoSmart 3300 series is not amongst the available choises so I selected the PhotoSmart 7xxx series. I continued with filling in the IP address of the network printer and then the name of the printer. After trying to print a test page nothing happened.
Somebody here who could help me forward with this? Any help is much appreciated!
