Active Sync Help!![PPC]

Hey This is my first post
i need help
Okay i downloaded active sync 4.1 (I LOST CD =[)
and i double click 'Setup.Exe'
And it gives me this error message:

It says Windows XP!
and im using windows xp
but im not sure what SP
i dont want to upgrade my service packs (BUT WILL IF COMPLETELY NECCESARY)
am im not willing to change my OS

Also this is my computer Stats or whatever:

Please help me is there some
patch for this? or some bypass
ive searched on google but its not that much of a likely error

[Also: i installed it on a windows 2000 computer ... worked perfectly fine
and i installed it on a Laptop running windows xp... worked
but the reason i dont use it on them is because they dont detect it .. thats another problem i just want it to work on this computer...]

Welcome to Pocket PC Thoughts!

To see what version of windows you're running, click on Start, choose Run, and type in "winver". The second line of the dialog box will tell you if you have any service packs installed (If you don't have any, you simply won't see any mention of "Service Pack" on that line). I highly doubt you'll have to change your OS!

I initially didn't want to update my systems to sp2 after I found out about the changes in it. However after I finally did so, I found that A) it wasn't that bad and B) it actually made things better in a number of ways. So if you've been holding up on doing an SP2 update, now is a good time to consider it.
