Can't synch outlook contacts from desktop to Pocket PC phone

I went into the active sync settings in the phone and it won't let me select contacts from the list to sync. I already have some contacts in my phone which I added directly to it since I've never been able to figure out how to sync from Outlook on my computer. Thank you for your help.

Hi verdim.

The sync settings for which folders to sync (contacts, tasks etc.) are in Activesync on your desktop NOT on your phone.
