Anybody know if there is a patch to do that ?

No patch, but some third party software may be trying to take a stab at it. I've used AE Button Plus (http://ae.inc.ru/aebplus.php) to do button mapping as it supports remapping the send and end buttons. If you contact that developer, he may be able to add it in or give you some pointers.
