The HTC P4350 (codename HTC Herald), which is in the spotlight this time, was a pleasure to review...Such a large portfolio makes it difficult to differentiate individual models substantially. A quick look at the technical specifications will reveal many similarities with the HTC P3300 (Artemis) that we reviewed recently, although the devices look completely different. In short, take out the GPS module and the unique HTC RollR™ control, add a slider keyboard and voila: we can herald a new device."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/hisham-20070115-htcherald.jpg" /><br /><br />The HTC P4350 (AKA Herald) is another side-slider with the usual specs - but PDAGold's massive review points to a lot of tweaking done under the hood. It's reasonably fast (courtesy of a faster RAM module), and has a very good 2MP camera. On the downside: the casing is a fingerprint magnet, and it's GPRS/EDGE only. Read Pavel's article for more!

I'm on a personal crusade - please do NOT buy ANY PPC with the TI OMAP 200mhz CPU. In this day and age it is unacceptable. Even overclocked to 260mhz, the performance is weak.

I speak from personal experience as an owner of the imate JAMin, aka HTC Prophet.

Unless you want to use your PPC as a glorified calendar, trust me - you will regret it! It's slow and tremendously reduces the functionality of your device.

At the very least, please play with the device or a friends one beforehand; for example try watching any video in divx.
