Hey Guys,
When I edit an existing contact an sync up with my computer, instead of saving the most recently modified info, Active Sync sometimes overwrites the old info back over the new info.
For instance, I tried to call my friend Todd yesterday. He changed his phone number recently and I remember editing his contact file and changing the number. When I tried to call him yesterday, the old phone number had been rewritten back in his file, presumably when I sync'd.
I've used Active Sync for several years and I remember older versions having options where you you could choose to
replace computer file with PocketPC file,
replace pocketPC file with computer file,
and I thought there was also an option to save the most recently modified version on whichever machine and replace the older file with the newer one.
I've had multiple issues with this, especially since I sync with two devices.
Any suggestions on fixing this?Is there a better app than active sync that does the same thing?
