Solution: Turn off Error Reporting. It reportedly slows down the device.

It definitely does. I turned it off for this very reason. I am sure GWES continutes to happily crash without my knowledge, which probably helps explain why my K-Jam has 21MB free after a soft reset and after a day or so when I close everything, only 8-9MB is free.

But with error reporting turned on, when GWES crashes, my device is unusable for at least 30 seconds, I suppose while the crash data is gathered. That got old after the first few times in a week. It is unfortunate because error reporting can be helpful to future device stability, but not at the expense of my device literally freezing for 30+ seconds to gather the data.
