XDA-Developers (the most active Pocket PC Phone Edition forum) forum member hanmin has just made available (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1097832&postcount=70) a way to skin your Pocket PC to, Today screen-wise, look exactly like an Apple iPhone.

You may also want to read the subsequent posts in the thread (starting with the 8th page (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=289272&page=8); I especially recommend this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1098471&postcount=94)).

Note that you MUST have a forum account in there to be able to access the attached files! Registering is very easy - just click this link (http://forum.xda-developers.com/register.php) and create a forum account.

Go get it as soon as possible (before Apple chimes in) :)

I'd rather have the slide lock, accelerometer (instant landscaping), the nifty scrolling and having the contacts re-organizing themselves based on call frequency for quicky dialing.

...and if you want to have the "look" on your smartphone (not pocket pc), you can always do this:

(I made two versions of the homescreen, one for facade and fizztraveller and and another one which only uses free plugins - that is the one in the image). :)

You can get it from my site (http://www.juniskins.com) - got to MS Smartphone homescreens and select iPhoneV2 - both versions are in the zip file :).

If you're a user of WisBar Advance Desktop, a few people have an iPhone skin being developed over at Lakeridge Software. It looks really cool!

I haven't made my PC try to look like a Mac either. I just wish it would boot as fast as one. :-)
