On the newer model (those that manufactured by HTC, most probably) have an applet call WModem. With that you can use your WM5 device as your wireless modem. To use it, you must make sure ActiveSync is not running in both WM5 and Windows PC."</i><br /><br />I remember a long time ago writing up a similar How-to for creating a dial-up networking connection on my origianal XDA II. However, now the steps have been a bit streamlined - so if you're interested, check out this nice write up. <br /><br />Of course, for die-hards like me, the older way was more flexible. I surely hope MS brings back the DUN profile!

 Cheers Jon.

I've been a lurking reader of all *Thoughts websites, and haven't too the time to register until today.

I felt such an honour to have my blog mentioned/linked to, especially from this popular PocketPCThoughts website.

p/s: Does my registration at PocketPCThoughts work across other *Thoughts website/forums too?

Welcome to Pocket PC Thoughts, chiefie. For the moment, the answer is no, but it is a feature we're implementing in the future. To make it easier, register with the same user name on the other Thoughts sites, and when the times comes to upgrade the sites, we'll be able to easily combine your profiles into one.
