Unable to create notes on memory card

I have an o2 Atom with a Sandisk 2gb UltraII memory card installed.

All my apps seem to work fine reading & writing from the card, except the WM5 Notes application. If I set up Notes to save to device memory, it works fine. But if I set up Notes to save to the memory card and then try to create a new note, the "OK" button doesn't do anything. Flip back to using main memory, and "OK" works again.

I've aso copied existing memos to the memory card and can edit/save from there, so the problem seems to be isolated to just creation of new notes.

I'm hoping somebody out there might have seen this before I go down the hard reset option. ActiveSync version is 4.2

Here's what I did... start notes, click on Menu, click on Options, under Save To select Storage Card.

However when I did that the notes on the storage card seem not to be Sync.
