Has anyone been able to get the newer Logitec headphones to work with an ipaq 2215? I've enabled the BT headphone registry hack, and can pair the headphones with the ipaq, but the ipaq won't recognize the headphones as headphones.

I assume you are talking about stereo headphones. As far as I know there has never bee a 'hack' to allow those to work on any PPC. The 'hack' I am familiar with was to alow using a handsfree/headset with some iPAQ models. As I recall that didn't even work on the 2215, though it did on the 4155. It is not unusual to be able to pair BT devices and get nothing out of it. They must have compatible profiles, Serial, headset, or in this case you want A2DP, Advanced Audi Distribution Profile, for stereo.
All is not lost though, HP did sell stereo headphones about the time of 4155s and 2215s and provided a driver update to support them. Logitech made HPs headphones, and they were standard A2DP anyway. Give it a try. The link is from the 4700 series downloads, but it should work. Backup first.

Hope the link works
