Is there no upgrades available for my 22XX?

I have a PE2050A.. not sure if that's a 2210, 2215, etc or if it matters. I use it as a nav system, but the new nav software update requires 2003 second edition. I believe that's one step above my Pocket PC version 4.20.0 (build 14053). HP doesn't seem to have any upgrades on their site. Am I hosed?

Hard to imagine this thing is useless after 3 years.

Did you try calling HP's tech support to verify whether there was a ROM upgrade or not? If HP doesn't have it, you're out of luck :| .

There is no 2003 SE upgrade for the iPaq 2200 models. Sorry, but you're stuck at 2003 First Edition.

The Nav software company doesn't get to sell me something
I'm stuck with old maps and features.

Unfortunately, that's the way it is with most OEMs. Since the days of Windows Mobile 2003, very few devices have been made upgradeable to the next version of the OS.
