I must admit on my K-Jam it looked fine, but I also know my screenshots looked dirty when viewed on my PC. I was even OK with the color on my JasJar, which is a VGA device, but I know some of you that upgraded to PB3 were not at all happy with how it looked on your particular device.

Well, now, not only can you change the background, you can specify the background color of bibles, devotionals, dictionaries, commentaries, the list results window and more. On top of that, you can change the highlight colors used for footnotes and verses you linked to. But wait! That's not all. You can also change the color of regular text, the words of Christ, searched for words and hyperlinks. So there. Is that enough customization for you? :D

It is a free upgrade for PB3 owners. Just log in to your account and download the latest. The only issue I have with it now is it seems all of your settings are in the registry, which is how it was before, but there used to be so few things to tweak in PocketBible compared to now. You have about 10 different color schemes, 8 navigational preferences, 5 book preferences and a few other odds and ends. I'd like to see most of this moved to a configuration file in the Laridian Books folder that would survive a hard reset or moving to a new device without having to export the registry. :)

Now that's just cool. I was thinking how a program like this didn't have that type of customization 8) Thanks Laridian!
(And thanks PPCT for all you've done this year :D Cheers! :) )

Nice update on the changes to colors in PB3. Not quite what I was hoping for, but in this case, I didn't feel a need to tweak the background colors as much as other users did. (I can see the need for them as their device portrayed the colors differently or in some way that detracted from their experience.)

I also would like these settings saved in a file if possible. I just hard-reset my device due to a bad software install and lost all of my settings. Had to re-set those manually.

One feature I've mentioned that would be nice color-wise would be the ability to give a name to the colors used for highlighting - easy way to know that I've associated "Pink" with "Love of God" or some similar thing. As it is, I just pick a color because I don't know of a best practice to highlight. I like the ability to do it, but am not able to put it into practical use at this time.

Still, I appreciate the progress their making with the product. I enjoy using one device for reading, taking notes, etc.
