Soti makes good products, but their upgrade policies stink. You get updates for six months, that's it. After that, you have to pay. I couldn't go from Pocket Controller 5.06 to 5.07 without paying a fee, which is ridiculous. I can see paying for major updates (e.g. 4.0 to 5.0) and even perhaps updates that aren't full new versions, but add features (e.g. 5.0 to 5.5). But I'm not sure why I should have to pay them for minor updates - what are pretty much bug fixes. That's pretty money-grubbing.
