My home computer has a Windows ME for a OS. I downloaded the latest version of ActiveSync and it says I need to upgrade. Is there anyway around this?

Just wondering. Would an older version of activesync work? I see that ver. 3.8 is compatible with Windows ME. But, is there going to be any problems that I may run into?

If your device uses Windows Mobile 5, you must use Active Sync >=4.0. If your device is pre-WM5, you should use Active Sync 3.8.

I have a HP Ipaq hx2410 running WM 2003SE.

In that case, AS3.8 is the way to go.
