I am new to the pocket pc world so forgive me if this sounds to simple. I am running windows mobile 5.0. I have downloaded and installed adobe reader for pocket pc 2.0. When I go to website that requires that I have adobe reader to view certain information about the website, the website does not seem to recognize that I have adobe installed and just tells me I need adobe reader to use some of features of website. I have opened pdf files on the PPC just fine so adobe reader seems to be working. I am not sure where or if there is a problem, so any advise or guidelines would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Adobe Reader for Windows Mobile, unlike the desktop version, does not integrate into the browser. The best you can hope for is to download pdfs and read them offline - but this isn't what you're after, right?
Which website is this btw?
PS Welcome to PPCT!

I suspected that was going to be the case.
Is there any other way besides downloading the pdf to work around this?
The website is nchacutting.com - go to membership or horses earnings on the right hand side of main page. You are suppose to be able to look up a person or horses name but if you don't have adobe reader then it just tells you to get adobe reader instead of being able to enter a name. I don't think I can download pdf at this point from the website.
we use this website to look up people while we are out on road so I was hoping to get this to work

I've just tried it out, and I'm glad to say this is solvable - it's not a pdf problem, it's a form problem. Essentially, PIE is not displaying the input forms for the database lookup, and the Adobe Reader blurb you're seeing is just the disclaimer at the bottom of the page. I tried the same pages with NetFront and it worked.
So my suggestion is to try out alternative browsers like NetFront or Opera Mobile, and see if that works for you. Let me know how you get on!

This worked perfectly. Thanks for the help. I used the NetFront software
