I've been using Windows Mobile devices for some time now, and I never thought to ask this question. Is there a way to save ink as a searchable data type? For example, if I use Notes or Word Mobile on my device, can I leave it as text, but also search for words within the document? I want the best of both worlds - the ability to quickly scribble data, but also make it seachable. I know that this is one of the features of the Tablet PC OS, but I want to know if that function/feature is available to Windows Mobile devices.

In Notes, you can convert ink into text by selecting Menu > Tools > Recognize, and from there, it would theoretically be searchable. Is this what you had in mind?
