I haven't got much ram (I've got a HTC P3300) but I would really like to install a very light weight and robust task manager that will let me easily switch between running applications and also close applications when I click the X button. What's your recommendations? It does not have to be freeware.

Try Magic Button:

It's freeware, small and does what you want...

There is a free version of wisbar, the best task manager. Download it at lakeridesoftware.com

The paid version is very good also.

Thanks for the tips! I tried Magic Button, but that was a very wierd application. It kept throwing the phone application in my face, every time I closed another application. I'll try Wisbar.

also, wisbar lite goes not seem to be free any longer. 4.95...but if u buy the advanced one for 9.95...u can use the lite version also. same reg code. advance one is good one u can even change the total look of your ppc... mae it look like a vista machine or even an apple os.

vbar and magicbutton are the best bet for free.

I think they were referring to Wisbar 1.x, which is still free, but doesn't work with WM5, AFAIK. Wisbar Lite has always been a commercial product. But I do agree that you might as well buy the full version.
