Shucks :( you need an 838pro of c720w to get this app... would like to try it out on my Uni... before subscribing to a BB add-on for my subscription.

You need a Dopod account to download it, and in order to create a Dopod account, you need a valid Dopod IMEI.

Assuming you COULD download the application, do you think RIM would limit who could use the software? I would love to have my Qtek 9100 connect to my BES so I can have true wireless connetivity to my Notes environment.
