The first of the four smart phones, the Amoi E72, will retail in China for less than US$250. This, according to press release, makes it one of the lowest-priced Windows Mobile smart phones in the China market. Prices for the other three smart phones - the Amoi E75, E76 and E78 - are expected to be announced at a later date."

Amoi (not Amoy), the company behind the almost unheard-of E850, has unveiled four new GSM/GPRS/EDGE-enabled Windows Mobile 5.0-based devices (E72, E75, E76, and E78) with TI OMAP CPUs and Bluetooth - with the E72 tagged with a recommended retail price of less than $250 USD. It's uncertain whether any of these are Pocket PC Phones. The (obviously, Photoshopped) image of the E78 (above) seems to suggest that it's a Pocket PC, though the press release indicates otherwise.

Somehow, the thought of having an 'amoi' in my pocket is endlessly entertaining - and now I have to take a cold shower.

I've seen AMOI posters and ads when I travel in China. This looks like a Smartphone from the hardware though [home and back key] I agree that the photoshop guy pasted the wrong screen shot as the Darius said.

Sorry Mike, it's a bit of an Asian joke - amoi sounds like the word for girl/woman in Cantonese.
