I want to have a recurring reminder each day at a fixed time, but I would prefer to not use the calendar or to-do list for this if I can help it. BugMe seems to be the right idea, but it does not have a vibrate option for reminders and although I am willing to pay somthing for an application I'd prefer not to pay that much for something as simple (I hope) as what I am looking for.
Basically I just want a message to pop up at a predetermined time each day and to follow whatever notifications are that I have set in WM5 so that I get audible/vibrate when sound is on and vibrate only when on mute. Low memory footprint would be nice to.
Any ideas?

Geez, the answer was kind of simple. I did not realize that the OS had three builtin alarms under CLocks and Alarms and that will meet my need without adding anything. :)

Just for fun, check out apMemo. There is a freeware version at the bottom of this page (http://www.apsoftsystems.com/apmemo/).

Thanks. I had looked at this app previously, but it did look like it included any alarms, let alone the ability to repeat at a set time each day. Did I miss something? :?:

Not really. I had just found this program and saw your subject line and thought I'd throw that app out there just for grins even though it wasn't exactly what you were looking for.

Then thanks for tossing in the thought! :)

Well, you're half-right anyway. ApMemo has easy-to-set alarms, but I don't see any way to make them sustain on a recurring basis (i.e. daily).
