View Full Version : Help! ActiveSync window invisible

Part 1: Some time ago, ActiveSync suddenly couldn't be made visible anymore on my laptop. The program works, the icon resides in the system tray (bottom right), syncs all right and can be opened. When opened, however, it only appears in the active programs bar; the window is never actually visible.

Annoying, very annoying, but not that much of a problem.

Part 2: Today, the inevitable happened. From time to time (I don't know if you've experienced this) AS stops synchronizing my appointments. To solve this, I just have to disconnect my device, open the AS options window and re-check the appointments option.

Alas, since the ActiveSync window is missing, there's no more way to access the options screen. Darn.

Please please please help: either tell me how to access the AS options screen without being able to see the program window, or (even better) tell me how I can get my AS window back.

Posting this in the Microsoft ActiveSync Discussion group got me the solution. I'll just link to it here in case anyone else ever has the same problem.
