Missed calls / click sounds

I'm a new Pocket PC user, so I was surprised today when I noticed that there's no notification whatsoever about missed calls on the today screen. What's the deal with that? Do I have to install a plugin for that?

My other question is about the clicking sounds my ppc (WM5) makes when I click the screen. I have unchecked the box next to "screen clicks" in the sounds settings, but I still get sounds when I navigate and click buttons etc. Anyone got an idea of what could be wrong?

The implementation of Today screen notifications of phone-related events is sometimes up to the specific wireless carrier, so that may be part of the issue. My Cingular 8125, though, DOES show when I've missed a call.

What device and carrier are you using. That might help us with troubleshooting. In the meantime, have you tried a soft reset to fix your screen tap issue?
