Today I saw the news posting about Agendus and I thought well, last week I submitted a news item regarding the release of Developer One's Agenda One and it wasnt posted at all!!!
I also posted on the forum and nobody seemed to care...
Is it just me or is sth else going on that I apparently missed?
I have to say that Agenda One is by far the easiest PIM available on the market, enabling 100% one handed usage!!! That at least deserves a mention!!!

It was assigned to one of the editors, but you have to understand that the team is composed of a group of volunteers who give up their free time to make posts.
If it hasn't appeared on the front-page yet, expect it soon. :)

The other thing that troubles me is that noone from the community responded to the thread started!
Anyway, Agenda One is really cool and I suggest to all to give it a try!

I think most are a little wary of Agenda Fusion, because of support issues (not from personal experience, just from what I've read on this forum).

you can't honestly be upset because people don't share your views?

Who said I am upset? I think you should read my post one more time! I said that I found strange that nobody responded to a posting about a new product in the PIM category. Usually most people would react somehow.

Well, I wouldn't necessarily call Agenda One a "new product", the release may be new, but most in the community have probably settled on a PIM or have evaluated Agenda One previously.
That being said, many posts don't get responded to - take a look at most of my Developer posts! Just remember, every post puts more information out there for the community and those searching in from other places - so while people here might not be talking, lurkers may be learning!

You wouldnt call it a new product? Then what is it? A toast machine?
According to Developerone Agenda One IS A NEW PRODUCT...
How have most in the community evaluated Agenda One before? It didnt exist!!! Thats totaly ridiculous!!!
You also said that most of the people in the community have already settled regarding their PIM of choice. Then may I ask what the announcement about Agendus is doing in the frontpage?
I will not say more because If I do, I should have evidence to support my sayings...so I will stop here.
Please reevaluate the way you take these decisions!

Ah, ya got me - You wrote on Agenda One, however for some reason I was thinking Agenda Fusion. Must stop writing replies while tired... ;)

To be honest, I've been playing with Agenda One for the past couple of days and still haven't formulated an opinion. I'm still trying to decide if it adds ease beyond how I already use my device.

The main difference appears to be Smartphone support and those wanting "stylus-free" operation as well as a generally simpler interface (according to the developer).

Yes, right! I have to say that I never thought that stylus free operation would be important till I used Agenda One. With Agenda Fusion (more) and Pocket Informant (less) you have to some point use the stylus. Agenda One doesnt need that at all and I have seen that my PIM usage has dramatically increased! Agenda One lacks some features but in total it covers 90% of what I want in a PIM so I am not complaining!

I am a new member of this forum and was just trawling around and found this thread.
I must agree - Agenda One is fantastic. Came from a Treo650 running PalmOS and one handed use was standard. It made moving around unexpectedly quick and easy.
Now I have a Dopod 838 Pro (and love it!). I tried the built in apps, and they were okay, but needed more flexibility. Tried Pocket Informant and freaked. So much power, so hard to navigate, so many options, and a very cluttered interface. Hated the way of setting an appointment's time, and it was very sylus-centric. It didn't last long on my device.
Agenda Fusion didn't seem to be very easy to use either and didn't make use of WM5 soft keys.
Then I tried Agenda One and love it. Simple, uncluttered, yet powerful enough for my needs. It is also fast, and has fantastic one-handed navigation. It is so easy to jot a ToDo now, switch between views, etc. Very stable as well. It strikes me as a very well thought out piece of software designed from the ground up, rather than growing from many previous versions on earlier WM versions.
I absolutely love it and would recommend anybody to try it, especially if they find PocketInformant a bit too much, or need easy one-handed navigation.
