Hmmmm...no pictures of the device in a "tablet" arrangement. Am I to surmise that there is no way to use it as a tablet without needing the keyboard? That might kill it for me.

Still the specs look promising and I have to admit its a neat piece of engineering. Could be a step in the right direction.

So is this a pocket pc phone? A Pocket PC with CDMA for data only? Or is it an UMPC? What OS does it run?

edit: Nevermind. Just looked at the other pics. Not PPC. its UMPC. Is it a phone though, or just data capability?

From the description, it looks more like it uses CDMA's EVDO purely for wireless data access, but....

Users will have wireless access to the Internet utilizing Mobile WiMAX connectivity. Simultaneously, the CDMA EV-DO technology provides mobile phone connection for voice communication.

So does it mean it uses some type of VoIP? Kind of an ambiguous description...

i could probably live with the 30GB disk, and the 1Ghz processor . . . but 256MB or RAM . . .this thing will die running XP, let alone Vista
