Pocket Streets does not save settings under WM5. I've read that the reason is that the registery keys are missing under WM5.

1. Has anyone tried manually creating the WM2003 registry settings on a WM5 device?

2. Can someone post what the registry keys and entries are for Pocket Streets on a WM2003 device? I read in another thread that they're in HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Pocket Streets, but I dunno if there are others

Thanks!

The only really important registry entries are at

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PimApps\PimExtensions\Calendar\AddIns\PocketStreets]
"Menu"="Find On Map..."
"DLL"="PSInt.dll"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PimApps\PimExtensions\Contacts\AddIns\PocketStreets]
"Menu"="Find On Map..."
"DLL"="PSInt.dll"

Other entries are at

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\pushpin]
@="Pocket Streets Pushpins"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\pushpin\DefaultIcon]
@="\\T2T Disk\\Microsoft Pocket Streets 2002\\pstreets.exe,-131"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\pushpin\Shell]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\pushpin\Shell\Open]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\pushpin\Shell\Open\Command]
@=""\\T2T Disk\\Microsoft Pocket Streets 2002\\pstreets.exe" %1"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Pocket Streets\2002]
"Lang"="enu"
"VersionMinor"=dword:00000005
"VersionMajor"=dword:00000009

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\mapfile]
@="Pocket Streets Map"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\mapfile\DefaultIcon]
@="\\T2T Disk\\Microsoft Pocket Streets 2002\\Pocket Streets.exe,-130"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\mapfile\Shell]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\mapfile\Shell\Open]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\mapfile\Shell\Open\Command]
@=""\\T2T Disk\\Microsoft Pocket Streets 2002\\Pocket Streets.exe" %1"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Pocket Streets\2002\RecentFileList]
"InstallDir"="\\T2T Disk\\Microsoft Pocket Streets 2002\\Pocket Streets.exe"

Of course, this is for Pocket Streets 2002 on a PocketPC 2002 device, but I doubt the registry values have changed. I'm pretty sure that the PIM entries won't work on WM5.
