Hello all,
I am new here and this is my 1st post. I have a cingular 8125 using WM5 and ACS 4.2.
The problem is after a sync the unit will disconnect itself even in the middle of installing new software.
I have uninstalled ACS & reinstalled also soft reset on unit. No Joy.
This is causing a problem installing microsoft Voice Command trial.

Did the problem only happen when installing microsoft voice command trial.
I guess the problem may relate to usb cable or your usb port. Did you try it within another usb cable or other usb port?

I was trying to install the trial 1.5 ver.
I did try another usb port 1st, another usb cable & port 2nd. No joy.
I went back to my desktop did some maintance such as defrag and registry repair after I uninstalled everthing related to pocket pc.
After maintance I reinstalled active sync 4.2 clean then purchased Voice Command 1.6. It worked perfectly.
I then loaded all of my other software. All OK.

One thing I did notice the trial ver gave me the option to install to SD card or device. It defaulted to " " location and would try to install to card no matter what choice I made.
Microsoft says install to main memory which I assum to mean the device.
Perhaps this will help some else.
