In the past we have seen slight case customisation as with the blue LEDs of the Exec, but with the Orbit O2 have designed an entirely new 'Cruiser' housing to contain their variant of the HTC Artemis. In stunning black and silver livery the Orbit stands out from the crowd and its shapely lines serve to draw the eye in an intriguing manner towards the functions of the device itself."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/hisham-20061114-xda_orbit.jpg" /><br /><br />Based on the Artemis 200 chassis, the Xda Orbit is a looker of a PDA Phone, with specs to match: SirfStar III, Quad-band GSM with EDGE, 802.11 b/g, BT 2.0 and 2MP camera. Wow, finally a small GPS phone! I've been waiting for a device like this for years. I've never purchased a phone from the UK; does anyone know if O2 SIM locks their phones like in the US, or can I use this on Cingular? Would I need an unlock code?

what a waste!!

The cpu speed is retarded at 201 MHZ. Beautifull device though as far as looks.

Also no 3G. When are they going to make a perfect device???

I completely agree. So many manufacturers including HTC have come out with devices with really nice specs and then crippled it with lame memory or procs.

When are they going to realize that we want it all in one device?

Dear HTC,

Please take the TyTn and don't change anything except for the following:

1.) Double the RAM
2.) Add GPS (Like we have in the O2 XDA Orbit (MTK chipset please, but SSIII is fine, too))
3.) Add an FM radio
4.) I'm diggin' the Trackball (Like we see on the O2 XDA Orbit)
5.) Make the casing sexy black, baby! (Like we see with the O2 XDA Orbit)

Voila! Perfect device!

Or even better yet...

Make a device just like this O2 XDA Orbit and don't change anything except for the following:

1.) Swap out the crap processor for the really nice one found in the TyTn
2.) Add in all the 3G wireless (like we have in the TyTn)
3.) Add a slide-out, blue-backlit, thumb-type keyboard (like we see with the TyTn)
4.) Double the RAM

Voila! Perfect device!

Either way... your choice. But please make this device - so many of us are waiting for it!

Sincere and Waiting,

Your Loyal Customers

That's a nice spec list, but regarding your comment above, gotta disagree with you there.
